On Being You

Nobody wants to face who they are, not really. It’s too vulnerable, too honest.

But, maybe if you expose that to other people, show them Who or What you are, on stage or otherwise, they’ll care on some level. Be completely open and raw, while also being sincere and honest. You wanna be unique? Then be You. No One else is whatever it is you are.

And, that may have a positive effect on how you feel about yourself, being that open. Because you can learn about yourself through that. Through verbalizing things you never would have otherwise.

People will like you, or they won’t. But, that’s on them and their own petty judgments. Regardless of everyone's thoughts who experiences your true self, YOU were honest and sincere and true. Though, either way, they still may be compelled by you, meaning they Will remember you.
